Interview
User
I conducted a series of interviews with diverse target audiences, using five carefully crafted questions to gain insights into their perspectives and understanding of remote control systems.
Among the questions asked were:
1
How comfortable are you with using remote control systems ?
What features do you look for in a remote control system?
2
Can you share any experiences where a remote control system met or didn't meet your expectations?
3
How often do you use remote control systems, and for what specific tasks?
4
What would make a remote control system more user-friendly for you?

Solutions
A home control system considers privacy and is secure with its regular updates.
Make users understand how it drastically reduces burglary rates.
Making the device compatible allows it to connect to different devices in the same household.
Access to download data on specific dates in case the user can't use gadgets.
Solutions
Considering voice control and special settings like vibration to make the app even more accessible.
Providing the necessary support documents in case the user gets stuck in between
Ability to customize the default user to get notified and give access control to family members.
Also providing view options for the neighbor to keep track.
Generate regular insights and usage histories to reduce overall consumption. Also, connect the system within a good WiFi range to reduce battery drain.
With all the research insights and brainstorming knowledge, I translated all these into paper wireframes and revised them according to the reviews.
